How does it work?
Customers pay for utility service. Utility suppliers pay a marketing expense. SPG is contracted to receive those allotted funds. Therefore, the customer does not spend any more by switching through this program.

After receiving marketing funds from the utility supplier, SPG redistributes a portion of the revenue back to the customers and the sponsors who spread the word about the program.

SPG shares over 65% of its revenue with the sponsors and customers who are part of the program.
Does the actual service provider change when I switch service?
No. By switching through this program, customers are participating in their state's Energy Choice program overseen by their local energy delivery company. Customers who switch receive the same service: same deliverer, most often, the same bill, and with no interruption in service.
What benefits does the sponsor I support receive?
40% of revenue* is distributed to sponsors.
What benefits do I receive for being a customer?
SPG has created the Customer Appreciation Revenue Program to reward customers above and beyond helping their favorite cause. Through the Customer Appreciation Revenue Program, distributions equaling 15% of revenue* are distributed back to the customers in check form. Further, 10% of revenue* is given away in the form of vacations, vehicles, and cash prizes!
